Thanx for looking, that's cool - I bought a universal one before I got the 4six one - didn't like it , cheap lookin and flimsy so I'm lookin for the stock one.
I'll prolly just hit up the salvage yard - my old one rusted where it connects to the manifold and broke in two..
Thanx for tryin..

I just wonder how much sh^t went threw the inside of my motor before the problem was realized. I wonder how much this shortened my engines life..??
Since 1998 I carefully maintained my vehicle. Right now I can't tell if this did any damage or not. I think about it all the frickin time tho..I can't believe this happened..I don't blame the manufacture, it just sucks..
So yes a "re-design" or the use of a different material anyway , like aluminum would be better..

Should not be much more than about $15 at the dealer.
I had to put one on my 02 4.6.
One day I pulled the stick and half the tube came with it.
Complete vibration crack off not rust .
This kind of problem affects the idle air just like a PCV open or cracked hose would do.
Getting the bottom part out of the pan can be a big hassle.
My tube was about an 1" too long to get in place at the pan end but there was enough there to cut off and get it to set in and fit while the tab bolts at the correct location.
It's an O ring seal into the pan.
