Deisel Transplant

I was just wondering if anyone had considered putting a diesel in their F150. I have decided that I'm keeping my 2000 XLT 4X4 after the engine craps out (which hopefully won't happen any time soon) and would consider replacing it with a diesel (of course I would change the trany and front and rear diffs). I'm also looking at maybe putting one of the new 5.4 3vs in it. I have also considered a V10.

Obviously none of this is going to happen in the near future but I would like to get some ideas for when the time comes.

V10 swaps are not practical. Nor are PSD swaps. Too much electronics problems. Now commonrail cummins.....
