Unhappy 4.2l V6 in a '98 F-150

Bought the truck in '04. Hydrolocked in '05. Engine replaced in '05 (the mechanic hammered the harmonic balancer on and I didn't know it). 6 months later the balancer seperated from it's collar and was free wheeling. Found the problem and had a different mechanic replace it. Recently the balancer bolt head sheared off at some unknown time.

Drilled the recesssed bolt and had a easyout (at this point it's an oxymoron) break in it. I read some place that with the bolt head gone, the bolt itself should not be hard to remove. Not my case.

Does anyone have any ideas for removal of both the easyout and what remains of the bolt?

Its a shot, go to a good muffler shop. Those guys deal with a lot of broken studs.

OK. Here goes. After 2 days of hammering, chiseling, and welding the easy out finally came out. I ended up taking a peice of 3/8" pipe, cutting it slightly over 1/2" long. Put it into the shaft recess and welding (the ground was attached at the end og the crank) it to the e/o 10 times before it gave. The bolt was the same but only too 4 tries. Now it been running for 2 days and things are great.
