Cold Air Intakes from Ebay?

Hey guys, there are quite of few cold air intakes for the late model f150. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. It looks like you can buy them for as cheap as 80 dollars shipped.

Has any bought and installed these items? It is very temping to try one out.

my 97 has a BOMZ racing one. its kinda a POS imo but it works. and the hoses they supply didnt quite work with my truck, the instructions lacked hard core. it didnt tell me what any of the hoses were suppose to be for, to make it easy on me.

From reading the feedback of those guys, I think there is a possibility of issues you speak of.

Yours works though, I am not in a big hurry to mod my truck right now, so I am sure I will look more. Just wondering what others have experienced.

mines now 5 years old never had any problems from it. filter never rusted or nothing. still looks brand new. works great and i only paid 52 bucks for it. so find a good ebay intake. there are some that are better made than the others.

I would'nt go with one from ebay. Its my opinion that you should just go out and buy a new one that is better quality then going on ebay and buying it from off there.
