Question Weird choking situation while cruising

Hello I got a 2000 F-150 Lariat automatic 2WD.

When I am cruising at 3rd gear, if I press the gas pedal enough to speed up but not to downshift my truck starts to choke rapidly. If I was to let go of the pedal the problem goes away, if I downshift the problem goes away.

Only happens if I add a bit more gas in that sweet spot. Does anyone experienced that???

Thank you

Sounds like the beginnings of a typical low-grade misfire.

Please specify your engine, mileage, and whether you've had the plugs and other ignition components serviced in the past.

Any CEL/SES?
