On Of my friends blew the motor in his 99 f150 4x4 with a 5.4. Does anyone know of some places that have good prices on used engines or remans. Post them up.

 

I would try eBay or Capart.com(great resource) .. Personally I would look for a used unit with low miles preferably. Theirs good deals out there, look around a little. You can get more for the money , plus you keep your old motor this way..

 

I would check with all you local parts stores. Don't overlook Ford, sometimes www.motorcraft.com has specials.
