lol i was given a turbo from these guys next door its off a wrecked truck they are scrapping out


think itll work??

what kind of truck? If its a diesel, i wouldnt use it because they are more efficient with high boost, like 25+

dont that mean he can run 1 of these, save weight and get something comparable to a twin turbo?! lol

but seriously, more boost from one turbo isnt bad is it?

boost is boost
only advantage of twins is less lag

big turbo takes longer to spin up than two smaller ones.

HI!... No offence but thing looks like it's worth about $20. It doesn't look all that big? What is it, like 50mm?

With a high power V-8, a single turbo set-up is the way to go. Twins usually don't produce as much power as the singles. That's why all the supra guys switch to single turbo set-ups. These days turbo lag is basically gone if the system is set up right.

I see bigger turbos at work that would swollow your turbo without even chipping the impeller.
