electric fans cooling

electric fans cooling

I have some electric fans from other cars, how do I connect for the power in a 97 f150

what size is your motor?? a fan from a car is not going to be able to cool a v8. you need a good size fan.

the two fans are 14" and the motor is 4.6. where do I add sensors for temp and ac

You need to buy a quality fan controller.

Typically, the controller will have an input from a thermister that is inserted into the radiator for turn-on control. Some have a probe that actually gets installed into the cooling system itself.

Most controllers also have inputs for the electrical connection from the A/C clutch - when the compressor is running, the fans switch on also.
