Ford Racing 5.4 3V Ported Heads

Does anybody have experience with these heads? I called Ford Racing and asked about HP rating but they said they don't give out HP numbers...just flow increase.

20% increase in intake flow and 30% increase in exhaust flow are approximately what HP? Are they worth $1,399 plus installation? Will probably need cams as well...

Cool

HI!... I just read your link and it says they are $1399(U.S) EACH!!! That's $2800(U.S) plus taxes. With S/H I bet they would cost you about $3000(U.S). They say nothing about larger valves, if the valves are S/S, what kind of valve job do they have? 3 angle or 5?

If you want heads then check out these links :

The Feb 07' issue of MM&FF has an article on these heads, they put them on a 3V mustang with a procharger and reused the stock cam and gained 33 RWHP.
They come with stock size valves and are assembled with stock springs and keepers.

Cool

HI!... Well My old 5.4 with 9.0:1 compression made only 251RWH.P and 330RWTQ. I built up a 5.4 with the exact same mods as the other one, but added FOX LAKE stage II heads (now stage III) and custom COMP cams with a lower 8.42:1 compression and made 354RWH.P and 392RWTQ. Thats a increase of 103RWH.P and 61RWTQ!!!!! I'd go after market for heads. At least a stage II.
