Burning antifreeze!!!!!!!

can you burn antifreeze, and if so how

Yes , if your intake manifold gasket is compromised around the water jacket, you usually smell it and later ,develop a miss. Also check your trans fluid level , check it right tho. It's possible that it's leaking within the cooling system.

Theres a line under the plenum that's been known to leak - check the cavity on top of the block behind the alternator for that.

Most Likely , It's leaking above #4 cylinder , your heater core lines. Hard to find that leak because it evaporates so fast. Look on top of #4 coil for evidence.

Yes, coolant is flammable. Older Land Rovers are known to catch fire from coolant leaks (which are VERY common on LRs), and I even had to put one out. A heater hose ruptured over a RED-hot cat, and the fire burned through the hood & fender (they're Aluminum).

green antifreeze is a glycol alcohol and is combustible- as are all alcohols

Bud Light would burn but is only about 1.5 % alky
