SLP CAI anyone using?
This is a little different looking set-up. I'm leaning towards Volant but this is interesting.

I just put the SLP intake on about 4 days ago, and so far I really like it. It adds a very nice feel to the throttle compared to stock. This kit is not hard at all to install, and the quality is very nice compared to a "plastic" intake kit. It is worth the few extra bucks. I am actually getting ready to order the side exit exhaust kit probably today. Have any other questions, let me know.

Hi.
This intake has been discussed before...
Because of this (cut&paste from that SLP link):
" It includes a new larger diameter, high-flow MAF sensor and two high-flow, reusable Blackwing filters."
.. it will require a custom tune to be safe. ****ing with the stock MAF without assessing what it does to the MAF transfer function is dumb, and is asking for trouble. Can you spell 'Boom'?
I believe it was stated elsewhere that SLP offers a tune for this intake. You will need one.
Do the research before adding mods like this. Jeez.
Cheers
