looking to get around 350-400hp

Alright here goes, let's see how big this thread can get. I'm coming into a pretty good chunk of money here within the next month or so (tax return and reenlistment bonus.) I've also got the bug for MORE POWER! Basically I'm looking to see what you guys think what goodies I should get AND some companies that I can contact to order this stuff. I want my truck to be able to pull pretty much anything I want and still be able to have some other fun with it. I know that can't always happen, but what the hell.

Well go with a turbo kit and a built motor... Or just buy a twin screw supercharger kit.

yes, I think he means a lightning supercharger swap. If you have the funds, just go with an aftermarket supercharger kit.

HI!... Well if he wants 350-400H.P N/A. That is possible too. I'm making around 425H.P at the flywheel. 354RWH.P and 392RWTQ on engine. Now does he want 350-400H.P at the flywheel or at the rear wheels??????

true, but depending on money his best bet is to s/c or t/c it or just swap a whole lightning/harley motor in & mod it

my friend swapped a harley motor into his 03 screw fx4 & did some mods
(true magnaflow duals, jba headers, 10 psi on the blower & other lil mods like that)
& hes makin over 400hp i think its like 350 rwhp

i plan on doing the same but i need to find a motor first
maybe ill just do a L supercharger swap first & see what i can get out of that
oh sorry for the thread hijacking

To answer the questions on whethter I want the power from the motor or t/c s/c I want it from the motor. Because anyone can just slap on a t/c or a s/c, but I'm looking at the whole motor here. Maybe later on down the road I'll put one on. but just not right now. One thing I'm looking for here is what companies I can contact that will be able to give me options of what I can do so that everything works together like it's supposed to. Anyone can put on heads and a cam and headers, but they don't always work together like they need to. Know what I mean.

you could do the lightning swap. the internals on that motor are stronger from the factory. plus youd already have the supercharger if you wanted to put one in later on.

but you could always throw in new rods and pistons without swapping the entire motor out.

id put on new heads, plenum, throttle body, cold air intake, true dual exhaust, long tube headers, cams and some kind of tuner. matching plenum to heads would help a lot. getting the exhaust bowled and matched is always good too.

some companies:
crane makes a good cam
pacesetter headers
borla exhaust
troyer performance tuner
