Talking E85 fuel in f-150 engines?

Has anyone ever ran E85 fuel in their f-150? I have a 99 4.2L, and I'm starting to get tired of paying high prices for petroleum. I know you can get a permit from the government to build a moonshine still as long as you are using it to create E85 fuel, and I was somewhat thinking about doing it. But there is no point in wasting the money if I can't run it in my truck. Please let me know what ya'll think.

Unless your truck is outfitted to run on E85 from the factory, no, it won't work very well at all.

ethanol is corrosive and will eat your whole fuel system alive if it's not made for it.
