You used JB Weld For What?!!?!!

I was recently pulled over for a saftey chain dragging on the road.
The chain was to short to zip-strip anyplace, and the hook fell off.
I didn't have any electrical tape or Duct-tape- a sin by any means....
What I did have, was a little bottle of JB Weld.
I squeezed some out on the bumper and stuck the chain to it,
the copp was satisfied with that and left me drive away.

This led me to wonder what kind of crap this stuff has been used for.
My wife once actually used it to glue a full sized school chalk board with it.

Just curious I quess.

I had a Mercury outboard that wouldn’t start, I removed the flywheel, and found all the magnets had come unglued. A new flywheel was $150, so I used JB Weld to glue the magnets back in place. Worked like a charm, even in a salt water environment it still runs great today.

Used JB Weld to fix bullet holes in the fan blades of my windmill. There's always some a$$hole with a gun and no brains. Also used it to fix a hairline crack in the block of my Ford 9N tractor. The stuff is amazing.

A friend and I used JB Weld to fix a cracked aluminum oil pan on a 3.1L Chevrolet before. Car still runs to this day as far as I know, that was over five years ago.

Had a hole in the back of the block of an old car we had. Stuff did the trick and didn't leak oil for the remaining 7 years we owned it.

Recently I traded a car my wife had to a friend. The block had a crack in it. They fixed it the same way.

Yep, I used it to stop a leak that I had last year on my engine. Passenger side head started pissing fluid out the front of it, which would then hit the fanblade and get thrown all over the engine compartment. I love that stuff!

I know a 350lb. man that J&B welded the gas lift in place on a single pedestal office chair that is still holding up 20 years later.
