Question Mega fuse where are you

I have the post and about a battery no Charing two of the three replys said wiring. So I've ripped into the engine and gone to town voltage meter in hand. The only thing I can't find is the D*mm Mega Fuse

Can Anyone Help Me Find My MEGA Fuse and tell me what it Looks like..

hello! The mega fuse you are looking for looks just like the small flat bladed fuse,it's just about 3 or 4 times bigger. I think it's in the engine compartment in a black fuse box on drivers side fender well. Hope this helps. Wes.

My Haynes manual says the mega fuses are usually located in a box mounted on the firewall. Look for an orange/light blue wire or a yellow/white wire somewhere along the firewall...

I cannot find any mega fuses in my 1999 F150 5.4L engine compartment yet but I did find the fusible link...

What ever happened? Where was your mega fuse or did you have the fusible link?

I have a 2000 5.4L V8 and trying to figure out why my battery is not charging.

Check your alternator.

A 2000 F150 doesn't have megafuses, it uses fuse links.

In any event, neither would cause your issue.
