Hello all, don't let the "diesel" run you off. I mention that because of my issue and how it idles sometimes. I can start this vehicle and run down the interstate no issues. The problem comes AFTER I have slowed down to street speeds and come to a stop. The truck literally starts pinging and sounding exactly like a diesel engine. I can give it some gas and most times it clears it up. Also I noticed when I am pulling into work after getting off of interstate I go to back into my spot. As soon as I put into reverse and begin to back up it almost ALWAYS does this. Again, I can throttle it an most times it clears up. Sometimes if I let it continue to idle like this it will eventually die. If I turn off key and restart it is gone. OK, I have replaced all spark plugs, coils withing last 10k miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
