It’s a 2006 ford f150 4.6 V8 xlt. I want a bigger engine to turbo but don’t know what I’m doing. I’m new to these things and I really don’t know where to start

 

Turbo or supercharge the one you have. Anything bigger will be more headaches (and expensive) than its worth.

 

You have to be really really committed to do an full (different) engine swap on a modern vehicle. They aren't nearly as simple as they used to be.

why not use your current engine???

 

It has to much miles already and was planning on switching it anyways. I’m just using the life it has left right now till I earn enough for the new one.

 

so why not a stroker kit or a rebuild for yours??
