I started this post in December 2002 and it has remained within the first 4 pages since. Every time someone digs it up, new owners see it and post. Ford has to be one of the best trucks out there.
I'm looking forward to the 1000's post and the 100,000th view.
I also notice that many posters on here have posted almost ˝ million miles on their truck…

My '94 turned 100,000 last week. Never had a problem with the drivetrain. The only real problem is the cruise control does not work after the factory recall for the deactivation switch.

The truck is over 210,000 miles but theres been lots of changes. Not because of problems with stock parts but just because that is what I do with my truck.

I have 156,330 on my 2001 F-150 2WD dual cab. It has the 4.6 Triton. What a ride. I've replaced a few coils, an idle control motor, and a EGR switch but the ole gal has done great so far. I hope it make the big 200K. I should know by June LOL.

Just sold my 1994 F-150. Had just clicked over 100k, and the little ole' 302 started up with a piston slap. So I sold it.

Picked up a '96 powerstroke, 211k and still going strong

1990 F250 4X4 with a 351 and auto tranny. Just turned 100K. Low miles for an old truck, but look foward to many more.

sounds like its time for a rebuild.. if you can seem to get rid of the leak... check all your gaskets see if you can solve your leakage problem, ..

I am about 80 miles away from joining this club. I have owned my 1999 since 09/06/98 and it still looks like new. Just had to replace the rear u joint. It was almost seized up and I am going to replace the shocks soon with Ranchos. All I do is changed the oil every three thousand miles and change the tranny fluid every thirty thousand miles. I hope to own this truck until it is no longer driveable, and knock on wood that should be a long long time from now!
