my 03 FX4 screw has 93,000 miles on it and it runs fine with out any problem, but i was driving a 99 reg cab which had 213,000 miles on it and it started up everytime, these things are made to go past 250,000, you just need to know how to take care of something that has 4 wheels and an engine and it will last, unlike Ford's competitors

I have a 2001 Ford F150 V6 with 161,000 miles on it. I purchased the truck in '02 with 70k already on it. In the 4 years that I have had the truck I have not needed any major work done. Tune-up, new shocks, and tires at the beggining of this year and oil changes regulary. It is still going strong.

97 Ext. cab 4X4 with 102,000 and still going strong. Rides, drives and sounds like a new truck. Replaced the lower ball joints at 67,000, starter at about 75,000 and replaced driver's seat cushion at 90,000. Nothing else but shocks and fluids. I found a really good deal on an 05 screw but couldn't bring myself to part with a truck I know is rock solid. I'll be driving this truck until it just won't go!

Wouldn't you know it.... posted here bragging about my ride and the alternator went out a few days later! Thanks to all the posts on this forum I was able to diagnose quickly and I upgraded to the 130 watt alternator.

100,000 mile club

I have 115,000 on my 99. Problems EGR, O2 sensor, changed cluster, new one is flickering now. back glass leaks. check engine light still on code is for the same O2 sensor I changed 3 wks ago now it shows slow response. It still drives and pulls good but has cost me a bundle with these thing. Over a grand from Nov 05-Feb 06 and that was just parts, if I had had to pay for the labor no telling what that would have cost.

im new to the site and a new to owning a ford. i just got a 1998 f150 4x4 with a 4.6l and a 5 speed. i got it 2 months ago with 144000 miles and almost 4 thousand miles later i still love it. i got mine after a nasty little accident . but i drove it home. my buddy is gona rebuild the top end(because i want to) and put in a heavy duty clutch. body wise this thing has been beat other than the wreck. but it is my first truck and im a 20 year old full time student. when im done with it ill have about 3000 bucks into it plus the 2400 i paid for it. itll be worth every penny.

Talking 138,000+

I have over 138,000 miles on a stock 5.4, did I say stock? engine. Some probs, COP and P0303 problems that previous threads have helped. Seems to be gone, crossed fingers, though. Runs great pulls great.
