It is generally accepted that 100,000 miles is a measure of a good vehicle. My truck idles steady at 600 rpm and continues to pull hard.
running great woo hoo

135,000 on my 2000 Scab 4X4 daily Driver, only repairs were new tie rod ends and a U joint. Other than that, runs great.

my new truck seems weak????

I just bought a 2002 Scab, 4x4 lariat with 121,000 on it. It is in exellent shape, and runs good. I'm not sure what all has been done to it, but everything appears to be stock. It has good power going down the road but seems pretty weak from a stand still. It won't spin the tires in a power brake, and I was turning around the other day and got the front tires over a little hump on the side of the road and it barely made it out. Tires didn't spin once, I was on a dirt road.... Can anyone explain why it bogs down like that? it seems like it has no torque???!!!!!! Is there some kind of traction control that would cause it? I'm not new to Ford but I'm new to the 97-03 F150's.

125K on my '03 5.4 7700 bi-fuel work truck ... it's still a good running truck. It's had some work done to it, but it gets run pretty hard.

Just traded in my 98' Expy EB at 156,000. Ran conventional Castrol 5w-30 + a quart of Marvel's Mystery Oil in it most of it's life. No engine problems at all. Didn't use any oil and never leaked a drop in its life. Makes me wonder sometimes why I got rid of it. Traded it in on an 07' Expy Limited. Planning on maintaining it the same way.
