My '81 odometer shows 36,000 but that could be another 100 or 200 grand. Back then the odometers didn't go passed 100K because most of the trucks back then didn't go passed 100K. Anyway, she still runs good and doesn't burn any oil. I just made a 250 mile trip today without a hitch. After I tuned the old 351W engine, she went from 10 MPG to 14.

Just a note to say how happy I am with my 1997 F150 XLT. It's all stock, and I am the second owner. Turned 181,000 miles this week. I've had no major problems with it. Other then general maintenance I have replaced the rear driveline due to a rock smacking it and the oil seal on the rear output on the transfer case, and replaced the VSS. Not to shabby for a truck I use for everything!

As of this point my Exp only has useful value to me. My mileage is high, but this is inclusive of extensive maintenance.
She is in excellent shape still, and doesn't look a day over 11years.

148,000 Mi. noted on Jan. 26 2006 in Newark, NJ.

I last noted my mileage
248,000 Mi. noted on July 23 2009 in Wilmington, DE.
Synthetic Motor oil is the !!!.

my '04 Lariat Supercab 4x4 has 162,000 on it as of today. I am second owner. Truck looks, drives and performs great. Still as tight as a new F150. Other than sounding like a fake deisel, I am very happy with my truck.
