I have an '81 F-150 Ranger with a 351 Windsor and a Motorcraft 2V carb and she hit 36,000 last week. Now, that could be 36, or it could be 136 or it could be 236,000 but she still runs good and pulls like the devil. Good old truck.
I just hit 110,000mi last week on my 2002 5.4L Screw lariat 4x4.Idle is good -pings a little in the morning as I need to due a plug change, no rattles of any kind, only probs that I have had are right front hub went bad{boss paid for it since I was using my truck for work at the time} replaced the number 3 coil pack twice.{when I change plugs new COP'S are going on as well} Still has the factory serpentine belt that looks BRAND NEW!! Was concidering trading a few weeks ago but at this milage and she still runs like the day I bought her in Oct 06![I am the second owner,Orignal owner was a freind of my Great Uncle who passed away} RELIGOUSLY change the oil at 3K! BULIT FORD TOUGH IS ALL I GOTTA SAY BOUT MY TRUCK!!!!
I just picked up a 2004 with 158,000 but it runs great. I know the previous owner well and it was maintained religiously. It isn't my daily driver so I doubt it will ever 200,000 miles.
I am not sure how to get in the 100,000 mile club but I have a 1999 ford f-150 ext cab 4x4. And I have 225,000 and it does use a litte oil but I still enjoy getting behind the wheel of my truck. My wife has only driven it 3 maybe 4 times since i've had it due to she is nervous about driving it.
2005 4.6L 4x4. It's been a great truck and is still running like a champ. Bought it in 2007 with 20,000 on the clock.
