dad's company trucks are all f250 TDs now. yet he still has 3 f150s left. 97 with 305k 98 with 290k and 99 with 250k. all that has been done is new breaks, fluid changes, plugs, regular maintenance. original everything!! yet the white paint is flaking a little on the 97 but what do u expect for a 12 yr old truck that is in the sun 24/7! and just remember...305k miles on a WORK truck that is driven hard as ****! just be diligent with your maintenance and you could be up there too!

I guess I'm in it a couple of times myself. Just turned over 241000 a month ago. Truck still runs quite well. Just had to replace the front hubs due to finally wearing out, also id the front brakes at the same time.

220,000. 2001 5.4 4x4.

Blew it's second (!) plug about 11,000 miles ago on my way back to school. Nice $700 bill seeing as I was in the middle of Wisconsin. But besides that, truck has been flawless.
