Talking 154,000 97 Expy

My 97 Expy XLT 5.4 4X4 is running very strong at 154,000+. All stock engine except a K&N drop-in filter. Pulls a 16' SAR trailer with no issues.

Considering a cat-back flowmaster - anyone know if a cat-back muffler makes you need a tuning change (chip, etc.)?

Yep,

170,000 miles yesterday

'97 f-150 XLT Extended Cab. Not a single problem, (Except Coil Packs occasionally after washing the engine).

I love my Truck.

Not too shabby.
The 97 and laters have 24 vehicles over 100,000 miles and 26 posts for a total of 2,931,636 miles.
We have a long way to go to catch up with the pre 97 Ford trucks with 3 posts at 877,000 miles.
Then theres mscott with his 81 f100 with 550,000 miles.
All told, thats a lot of miles
I have a 1991 5.0 stocker with 327,000 that has not had nothing done to the top nor the bottom end of the motor. I've had to replace water pumps, altenators, belts, hoses, ball joints (both), and changed the trans fluid & filter once. I change oil & filter every 2000 using valoine 10W30, and grease every 10,000. The old gal still runs great ,but I might have to break down and put a rebuild on the trans as she is shifting slower nowdays. I have been thinking about doing a frame off and newer box with some other mods but can not make up my mind on them. I will not give her up for junk.
1991 F150 shortbox XLT Larait
all stock in great shape for her age and miles.

I have a 1997 F-150 5.4L with 259,985 miles on it. I have my 2009 F-150 ordered and can't wait. The old girl sort of let me down last week when the starter went south. But, filled her up with a rebuilt and she runs like a top.
