will join 300k on my 03 4.2 soon. Totaled my 02 4.2 with over 100k. Sold my 98 4.2 with over 400k. have only replaced fuel pumps, batteries, plugs & wires. no alternator, no water pump on any unlike my gm that gets alt, wp, and ele fan mtr every 60k

I have a 1 owner 97 Expedition that is at 317,457 miles. Only thing I have had to do is replace 3 of the coils as they go out. Still in use daily.

Mine has 205,919 on it and runs great. Always used Mobil one since new, 1998. 4.6L and wasn't babied at all. My son has been driving it for the last year and a half or so and I am amazed he hasn't roached the tranny or blown the engine yet.

my 98 expedition had 300,000 miles on it and the only thing i ever had to replace was the altenator. some old man ran a red light and totaled it before it could hit 310,000 miles

Just rolled 100K yesterday.

Replaced my 4.6L with a Lightning Supercharged 5.4L at 185,000 miles. The 4.6L was starting to smoke a little at times. It still ran strong though! My S/C 5.4L engine is used with 40,000 miles on it and many more to go!!!!!!
