Question what mpg are you guys getting

hey guys,

just curiouse as to what kind of mpg are you guys getting. i have a superchip, airforce one FIPK, and a gibson supertruck catback. i am currently getting 12 mpg. i drive normal...with the occasionally burst of speed. but really quite conservative. i thought i would be getting better than this. i drive about 60 percent highway. just looking for what you guys are getting/what mods/and percent of your miles are done on the highway. thanks for your time and posts.

I heard in another post that mpg will be low until the motor has fully broken in but I am unsure of how long they considred the break in period. I get 15-16, city and highway at 70mph combined.

My 97 is getting 13 in town and towing. I've never took a long enough trip without towing to know the highway mileage. I just got my truck out of the shop for the hissataing(Spelling). They reprogrammed my PCM (or what ever that thing is) one new plug and wire, and added fuel injector cleaner. (#4 injector was not as good as he like it to be) So far it looks like I'm starting to get better gas mileage. To soon to tell.

I don't know how to calculate my gas milage... But I can tell you that it takes an awful long time to run my gas tank dry between fill-ups. I'd honestly say it get's 17-18 city, 20-21 highway. That's just with a dual exhaust.

i get 16-17 with highway/city mostly city driving.

WOLVERINE
next time you fill up reset your trip milage, and then when the next time you fill up(fill it up all the way to make sure you are getting good numbers) take the gallons and divid it by the miles

an update

well,

i have no idea why but i think things are improving. maybe it is the engine breaking in or something...but i checked today and found i was getting 13.3 mpg. that is a 1.3 mpg improvement. and i have not been driving different...if anything i have been more aggressive with the gas pedal. just thought i would update you guys...but i am still not happy with these numbers. i am going to try and lay off it for a while and see what happens. that is until i get my next mod, you all know what will happen then
