Coolant Drain Plug on BLOCK Size?

Howdy,

I have a 2000 4.2 XLT 2wd. There's a square-head pipe plug on the driver's side of the block to drain the coolant.

Anyone know the size of that plug so I can get an appropriate pipe-plug socket?

I put a caliper on it and it *looks* like a 3/8, but just trying to verify before buying.

Also, it seems like Ford switched to an Allen-head plug at some point. Anyone have a part #, please...

Thanks very much!!

If it's square it's either a 3/8 or 1/2, which any standard extension would fit in.
