Bad cold start 2007 4.2 v6

Hi guys,

Im owned a Ford F150 XL reg.cab 4.2 V6.
I bought it 2months ago. No idea off any history, so i changed the oil, filters, air filter, plugs wires and coilpack.

But i've got a problem. When the truck stays a while, it has a bad start. It takes 10sec till it will run and runs not very nice, a bit rough. When i drive a few km. Its better and runs and drive OK.
When i drive a longer distance it will starts directly when it stays about 6/7 houres.

Sometimes it looks like it will starts at once but then u can hear it wil not run in 10sec.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks!

Check the backside of the FPDM for corrosion. It's on the frame rail above the spare tire.

Also, you may have leaky fuel injectors.

Yes it can be I between. Sometimes working, sometimes not. Check it to be safe.
