NEW Gen II EcoBoost V6
This is the engine that is expected to be in the revised Raptor with a new 10 speed auto behind it. The is a 100% clean sheet new engine. It's not a revised 3.5 or even close to it. The biggest difference, it's port injected as of now and may even use port injection and direct injection like some of the foreign makes have used to eliminate the crap on the valves and intake. This is the same engine that will be in the new GT40 only it makes around 600HP. Although it's a 3.5 it is a completely new engine. This engine will make for some crazy excitement. While the F150 is not mentioned as a future holder of it, it's a matter of time before the trickle down effect will make it happen.

Those numbers would mean the motor is WAAAAY undertuned. The current EB can easily make that with just a 93 octane tune. The secondary port injectors are added to address the fueling issues that DI engines are having. The Gen I EB already uses some of the largest injectors Bosch makes. Chasing power means you have to add fuel. If your injectors are maxed out you either go to a bigger injector or add secondary fuel sources in this case option 2 is the only viable choice. As an added benefit the port injectors help emissions in some operating conditions and wash the intake valves.

We will have to wait & see? I don't see Ford jumping to 500HP/500TQ in this application just yet? However I could be wrong?

Yes I agree. Ford will bump the #'s just above the outgoing 6.2 V8's #'s just to make a statement & be in line with the EPA's regulations.

Hit the nail on the head! To me the real benefit is the potential power with just a tune. I think it will be an impressive motor, but some won't care because it doesn't sound like a V8...

Ford PR is saying it will have more power than the outgoing 6.2L but not how much more. This puts the 450/450 numbers right at the bottom end of what it will be but even then it will be detuned quite a bit.
The real question for the rest of us is how much of this can we use on the previous versions of the EB?
