OK, Changed the oil a week ago. I had Motorcraft Semi in it at the last oil change and added a can of the german made Moly Lube additive at that time.
When I changed the oil this time I used the new Pennzoil U/P and added half of a can of the additive this time. I was getting 9.6 to 10.1 MPG on a regular basis. I am now getting 11.6 to 12.2 on a regular basis ( I do a LOT of short trip driving). In addition, I cut open the oil filter and found no collection of anything. The thing is, I have been using the A/C every day since the oil change, it has been hot and very humid the last few weeks. I am surprised at the mileage increase. I did some searching and found the Moly Lube is only .1 to .2 microns so the filter collection should not be a problem. Can't wait to see what highway mileage will be.........

 

After hearing what Labnerd said about Pennzoil ultra in the Eb i think i'm going to switch over to it also.. Ive not run anything but motorcraft for years in my fords.
