How do I do this, what parts do I clean and how do I clean it? I'm not completely new to this (I have a 2007 E350 with the 6.0 and clean that EGR every oil change (that engine is annoying and a totally different conversation).

The one on my truck looks like a spaceship and I'm curious how to go about it as general maintenance.

No periodic EGR cleaning needed on your engine unless it trips a CEL and throws a code.
