I'm highly suspect as well. Also, the Transverse mount 3.5L Ecoboost is a completely different engine from the Longitudinal mounted engine that goes in the F150. All they have in common are displacement and architecture.

sorry to here your having problems Kelly been there done that. Here is a copy of a previous posting i did
Ok. This problem unfortuately I am well versed in. You purchased a 2011 which is only the second year they had the dual turbo engine. Ford is going through a similar experience that BMW did in 2007 when they introduced their twin turbo 335I. I was a victim of that vehicle and I kid you not I was in the shop atleast once a month. It was constantly going into "limp" mode which is what has been described here. It was a design flaw that was not fully fixed until the 2010 year. The fuel pump was the biggest culprit in this problem. IT took them 2 years to figuer out the problem. Oh but there is more. IF you live in the lovely socialst state of California the problems were worse. The differnet gas mixture the enviornmental nazies have here wreacks havock with the dual turbo engines. In fact BMW has told every 335I owner in California that they HAVE TO use the premium 91 octain gas. They even had to go as far as producing a "special" gas pump just for California. I am sooooooooo happy I traded that car in for my 2013 FX4 with the V8. Never, never, never, never agin will I ever, ever, ever, by another turbo car. I plan on getting a Roush spercharger instead, its way faster anyways. I hope you dont have as many problems with your car as mine. If so Lemon Law it if it exsits where you live.
