Exclamation 2003 4.2 Runs Rough, Misses, Ticks, Shudders...

2003 RCLB 2wd 4.2 Auto.
NO CEL

Truck Ran Horribly, Popped loud in the exhaust, so i knew dead cylinder and post fire...

Pulled plugs, had two broken plugs with missing ends....

Truck had a loud tick, and found intake leak, so pulled intake and head.

found a wrecked number one cylinder piston and head, from spark plug pieces.

fixed it more or less, re-assembled with new gaskets, plugs, coil, and wires.

truck runs better, still a loud tick, and puffs white smoke.

pulled each injector off one at a time, with injector 2,3,5 off, truck runs the EXACT same...

pulled injectors, look clean, bench popped at about 5v, injectors work good.

pulse tested from the ground side, all injector wiring working, steady 12v on top, popping when supposed to. all cylinders getting great spark.

WTH am i missing? why does everything seem to work, but it isnt runnin right. runs the same on 3 as 6 cylinders?

all valves looked good, lifters, rods.... cleaned motor, all sensors, intake, everything.

truck has 212,xxx miles. need it to keep runnin a bit longer.

Thanks,
Jeff
