Fuel injectors

This is my first post hope someone can help me. I have a 2002 f-150 4.2.It runs and starts fine except when I let it sit for more than a few minutes then it starts hard like its flooded. I put a fuel press gage on it and it goes to zero after a few minutes. Then pulled the plugs and number 1 plug was wet and smelled of gas. I believe number one injector is bleeding down flooding that cylinder, but when cold it starts fine it also runs fine. Is it possible for an injector to act this way? Thanx for any help.

Yes. It sounds like you need new injectors.

Don't let it go too long like that or you run the risk of hydrolock.
