Bad Hestiation

Im fine when driving normal, but when I try to get on it, it will go up like normal to about 3000-3500 then cut off then go again. Kind of like hitting the rev limiter. I got 29 PSI of fuel pressure with the key on, truck off. So far I replaced:

Plugs
Wires
TPS

Any Idea's that would make my truck hesitate like this? Truck runs at normal tempeture. Bad fuel pump, bad fuel filter, bad coil pack?

Yea, I'm thinking the fuel filter next but that's odd. I would have done the Plugs, Wires, TPS first too. Hmmm

We are lost, my mechanic is scratching his head at this one. Truck runs beautiful to about 3000 then just cuts out almost like hitting the rev limiter. I had a race set up for tommarow ( Non- street) so I guess it wont be good if it can't go above 3k.

29 PSI is low, acceptable, but low, it might not be enough to keep the truck running at high RPMS....therefore check all that apply to fuel pressure.

Elaborate. You mean like fuel filter and what else? Should of made my self more clear.

Another note: When it was in nuetual I held it at 3000 rpms and the pressure went up then suddenly dropped.

Fuel pump, lines, filter, fuel pressure regulator, and the fuel rails. There could be a culprit to your problem in all of those things.
