Hey guys i switched it up from an 03 to a 98. I have the air bag light on on the dash. Shop scanner picked up B1884 Pad warning lamp inoperative. I have no clue what this means and i havnt seen anything on the fourms. Anyone have any ideas to help point me in the right direction?

 

Do you hear the door chime go off 5 times in cycles of 3? If yes the bulb is burnt.

 

So i feel a lil stupid. I hadnt noticed till today that the light that comes on by the heater/ac contols for the passenger side air bag switch to turn it on and off isnt working at all. No light comes on when its running or even when you first turn the key. The light on the dash will come on and blink a total of 7 times with 3 flashes in between. Im thinking that the two are one and the same and that im picking up a new or used passenger side air bag switch up sometime. Will update on the outcome.

 

You probably just need the light bulb.

heyy guys! i have a 2000 f150 4.2L with P0171 & P0174 codes. it also pings when i accelorate which sounds horrible. ive used a better grade of gas and had a motor vac done to clean out the carbon, ive had it checked for vacuum leaks and i've changed my maf sensor and it's still pinging... ive changed the fuel and air filter recently.
does anyone have any suggestion as to what i should do next?

Sometimes it can be the most simple things overlooked. I changed the air filter in my 07 and it threw both of those codes. It was the MAF sensor grommet that was not seated all the way around the wires into the air filter box.
