is there a programer out there that will take the top speed limiter off a 1998 stx f-150. like all the ones i looked at they say it dosent and i bought the hypertech programer 3 from a local shop. the guy there said it would take it off but it didnt. i called hypertech and they said the guy lied to me. it did make it perform better but what i been wanting to do is take the governer off. so dose anyone know for sure were i can get 1 or any ways of taking it off?

Superchips 1714 will???

It wont remove the governor, but it bumps it up to around 150 I think.

With a 4.2, Your never going to hit the speed limiter.

I disagree on that, I have maxed my 4.2 out on several occasions.
