Hello everybody!
Does anybody out there knows how to decode the check engine light? Someone told me that according to the way it flashes, it means a different thing...
Mine went on today for the first time, and I'm out of warranty.

I just learned something on here a few days ago, so I can not take credit for this suggestion. Check your gas cap. I have read it is the most common reason for the "check engine soon" light to come on. If its loose or off, bad seal etc. it will cause the light due to a sensor detecting, I believe a loss of pressure in the gas tank, or something to do with emissions. Anyway its worth a try.
