V6 vs. V8 numbers

Population wise, that is

Recently I've taken notice to the badges on all the F-150's I see and about 60% of the time, they all are mostly XL's (V6) and I'll maybe see one or two Triton badged trucks. The same time last year, all I saw were Triton badges!

Anyone else notice this spike in V6 popularity all of the sudden?

yeah, I rarely notice V6 F-150's, especially in the 04-08 body style. We're a dying bread, litterally.

I rarely see V6 trucks ... I don't think I've even ever seen a 2004+ F150 with a V6 other than on dealer lots.

Everyone I know has a 5.4 with the exceptions of a few 4.6s.

I did not know they even made a V6 until I joined this site. Most everyone in Texas has a V8.
