New Plugs & Wires?

I already searched, yes, and found Troyer's ignition pack. Apart from the ridiculously high price ($120) it's 8-10 hp gain saounds pretty good. However, it also states that the heat range its made for is for modded 4.2L's putting out 250+ rwhp. I don't want the wrong heat range for my truck, but I do want to get something other than OEMs to maybe help performance a bit. Other than Motorcrafts, what are good plugs and wires for these trucks to hepl them "get up and go" better? Anyone?

OEM's are as good as anything for trucks that are not heavily modded. Take that HP gain claim with a grain of salt.

Thats what I was wondering. How could plugs add 10 hp??? Maybe to the seat of your pants dyno? Troyer seems to be pretty good at ripping people off it seems.... So I guess going to stick to OEMs. I would have loved to get aftermarket ones.

Actually those Troyer plugs and wires are about the same price as true OEM's. There are 2 lines of Motorcraft wires, the true OEM is twice the price as the others.

Why would you love to get aftermarket when they are really no better than OEM?
