mustang or f150

Would a 2001 V6 mustang get about the same MPG as a 2001 V6 F150?

but it really depends on how you drive it i was getting 21mpg with the stock tires and a 99 4.2 F150

Now with 36's im getting 15ish... my tank will be empty in a day or two and ill let you know..lol

is it manual or auto?

buddy of mine has a 01 v6 stang. he drives it WOT alot and get about 17-19.

depending on the way u drive it, it will get better mileage than a f150 w/ 4.2.

either way u cant go wrong, they r both awesome vehicles

The EPA estimates that the Mustang will blow the truck away in fuel economy.

The City numbers are close but, at speed(highway) the Mustang weighes less by over a 1,000 pounds and comparing the frontal area of the two, the truck is a brick.
That's why the Mustang has 20% better highway mileage.

I'd have to say my 03 Mazda 6s was way more fun to drive than my truck. The ride was awesome, the 5 speed trans was way better. Just the overall quality of the car was more fulfilling. Plus, I got laid more in that car than in my truck.

I would love to have a V6 'Stang right about now. Maybe more an 04 then a newer one. The V6 has good insurance, the V8 would kill someone like me, plus it dosen't have as much power, wish is good for someone like me. Besides, I've seen some badarse V6 Stangs rape V8s on the strip all day long. Ever hear of a Chelby CS6?
