In the market...

I'm in the market for a truck and have my eye on two; a 97 F-150 5.4 4x4, and an 01 F-150 5.4 4x4. Both have about 130K and are about $5K. Both are in real good shape cosmetically. I'm just looking for something to haul stuff to the dump or move furniture, possibly to invest some time and money in. Thanks for any help.

There are many improvments in the '01 a couple of the big ones are the front end and the PI motor. Go with the '01 if possible!

Good Luck
