Classified Ad Guidelines - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!!
Classified Forums Guidelines
The purpose of the classified forum is to assist members in selling used F-Series truck parts, F-Series Vehicles, and other truck-based items.
This classified ad system is free for all members who have registered with the site and have 20 posts and 10 days of tenure. We respectfully request that you abide by the following guidelines:
1. This forum is to be utilized for the sale of truck-based items, F-Series parts, and F-Series vehicles.
2. Within your ad, please post a description, asking price, and method to contact you (either via PM, email, and/or telephone).
3. Once your item has sold, please take a moment to edit your post and add 'SOLD' to the body of the description of your item. This will demarcate the item as no longer available and hopefully keep you from receiving continual contacts regarding the purchase of your item.
4. As we can't verify the validity of external auctions, please no links to eBay, Craigslist, or any other external listing for the item. This includes eBay item numbers, or any mention of eBay ( or other sites ) in the description.
6. As was previously mentioned, registered members may not start a new thread to sell items within the classified ads forums until they have been registered for 20 days and have at least 10 posts. This guideline is in place to disallow individuals from registering with the sole purpose of selling their items as this privilege is meant to be utilized by members in good standing on the site that have been around for more than a few minutes to understand how things work here. Registered members may respond to other previously started threads if they wish without meeting the 20/10 criteria and certainly may purchase items posted within the classifieds area.
7. Naturally, we cannot allow bootleg/pirated, illegal material, firearms, stolen property, or Porn/NotWorkSafe (NWS) material, is to be sold or traded in this forum. Any items found meeting this criteria (or similar) will be removed without notice.
8. We cannot allow 'feeler threads'. This is the type of thread that is 'inquiring/feeling' to see if someone is interested in their product. Either you have an item FOR SALE, or you have an item you want TO BUY OR TRADE, or you DO NOT POST A THREAD.
9. Do not intentionally "bump up" your own topic more than once a day. You may of course respond to questions, but excessive "bumping" will result in the termination of your for sale thread. A “bump” is a post to get your thread back to the top of the page. If there has been any post made by anyone during a particular day, meaning the time stamp in the upper left hand corner reads "Today", a bump is not necessary and should not be posted.
10. We cannot allow the creation of multiple threads for the same item for sale. This includes cross-posting (posting within multiple forums).

Blatant disregard for these guidelines can result in your ad being removed and potential disciplinary action taken. Ads may be removed without notice. The system that we've implemented here is free for all members to utilize once the aforementioned criteria is met. If you have not met this criteria, you'll not be able to post new threads within our classifieds forum.
