2001 Expedition flying land barge

2001 Ford Expedition EB 4x4 AWD HI/LO Automatic Transmission

150k miles

Engine: 5.4 SOHC
Vortech J trim centrifugal supercharger charge cooled aka, inter-cooled after cooled
Snow Water/methanol injection system.

Exhaust system: short tube headers, 3in to 3.5 with a magna flow muffler. It's loud as hell when in the throttle but nice and smooth when driven normal.

Fuel system: 42lbs Fuel injectors, 255lph walboro fuel pump

Cooling system: flex-a-lite E fans,180 t stat, hi flow mechanical water pump. This sucker runs cool even in summer!!

Transmission: 4r100 was rebuilt 4 years ago with a full race rebuild. 3000 Stall torque converter "WILL NEED A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER SOON" about $700 installed at shops give or take.

All professionally tuned ECM by local kick *** speed shop IVMotorsports in sparks.

Ice cold AC, fire ***** from hell heater. Front and rear heat/ac automatic Climate control.

7in DVD double din with GPS and hand free. Rear ps2 and over head screen.

3ed row seat, tires are 90% remaining bought 1.5 years ago.

Leather is in great shape with some wear and tear, heated front seats. Paint is great with no major scratches or dents. MTX sub and speakers. It thumps but its not a gheto blaster.

Over all a nice tow pig for its age! She's a ripper pushing 14-16 psi Never on the qt. mile but easily deep 12's ET!!! That's flying for a land barge.

It easily takes out mildly modified 4.6 3 valve mustangs and murders the 2 valve mustangs all stinking day long!! Old fox body stangs aren't even worth screwing with.

FUEL MILLAGE is far better then a stock 5.4 expedition so as long as you keep your foot out of the boost. I can see as high as 18mpg at 70mph with little head wind. NO BS!! You step on it and you get the point.

Must run no lower then 89 octane but 91 is best. The meth injection helps a ton with varying fuel quality.

Perfect for the busy homemaker trying to get the kids to soccer practice.

Tons more aftermarket crap left out in ad. Seeing and driving is believing.

$5000 will sell for $2k minus all after market parts and converted back to stock!! It's worth more in parts then as a whole IMO.

TRADES PREFERRED

corvettes, Iroc camaros, 4.6 mustangs, 5.0 slow mustangs, chevy regular cab 1500 1/2 ton 2wd with LS blocks, or what do you have?? Needs work no problem lets talk about your trade. I like all vehicle makes!!

Trade for your mustang or corvette/camaro turbo kits!! No supercharger kits of any make please.

Thanks,

John

I've got another expo to mess with. Most of all its not fun enough anymore. The shock factory is cool when next to someone.

I'm really itching to slap a LS 6 with some mods in a pick up or f body c4/c5 vette.

I love ford but the cost to power factory is way low vs. the LS. heads on these lsx engines flow crazy out of the box. Blocks are thick as hell. Rotating assembly is a 1/3 of the 5.4. The list goes on.

Can't argue with ya, Fords are too much of a PITA to mod IMO. Even headers take 5 times as long to put in.

Here's a vid I made this morning. I have a Stang to look at this week for Possible trade. Fresh out of the paint both and it's the last year for the fox body.

Big heavy slow trucks are fun but at the end of the day there still a pick up or suv. I'm done!! It Doesn't even have the neck Snapping feel with a 11 sec truck vs. a 13 sec car. Why I don't know? I'm guessing it's the sheer weight of the vehicle?

Mmm . . . blower whine

Ooh I wanna see the Mustang whether you buy it or not! A few years ago, I thought they were pretty ugly, but now I could rock me a later 3rd Gen for sure.

Yeah, I feel like people that have fast trucks don't like fast vehicles, they like having a sleeper. I absolutely love sleepers, but I would much rather have a cam'd and supercharged new 5.0 than a new F150 with comparable power cause it's that much faster still.

This is the car. New paint less then year ago. Drive train is in good shape from what the owner told me. I post back with info after I check it out.

I mean fast trucks are cool but man the power to weight of a small car is damn hard to beat.
