2001 F150 5.4 4x4 7700 extended cab short bed 4 door Alexandria, VA DC Metro 88,840 m

2001 Ford F150 7700 4x4 5.4 extra cab 4 door 6 foot bed automatic auto. Presently 88,840 low miles.

This is known as the heavy duty F150 or light duty f250. It is a rare truck and you probably wont or have never seen another one. They are primarily fleet vehicles and the general public rarely gets a hold of these. It has F250 chassis and running gear and an F150 body. A lot of them are CNG, but this one isn't. I done several modifications since purchasing 3 or 4 years ago. Replaced bench seat with split bench heated seats from a Super cab, custom bent cat back exhaust, spray in bed liner, bed cover, K&N Filter kit (I have the original), tires replace 4000 miles ago and maybe some others I can't remeber. Everything works, no issues, no leaks, 4 wheel drive works perfect. cold A/C, great heat, cruise, door lock accuators and very well maintained with synthetic fluids.

There is a towing package but I only used it once to pull a friends boat out of the water when his truck broke down. Also these trucks are quite a bit taller than a normal F150 because of the suspension. It presently has 285/75 16 inch tires that are equal to about 33's. Could easilly fit 35's.

Truck runs and looks great, it is super clean and has minimal nicks, scrapes and such. It has NO RUST issues. I really didn't drive it much since I purchased. I bought with about 65,000 miles and mostly drove my work truck in California.

I drove the truck out here (Virginia) from California when my wife got transfered here for work. (no issues) I love the truck, but don't need it for work and don't drive it. My commuter car is starting to act up, so I figured I would sell "Whitey Ford" and get something different.

Here is a list of things that make this a 7700 edition:

F150 7700 GVW differences (light duty f250)
- Manual Shifter on the floor for the 4 wheel drive (best feature no electric shifter to let you down)
- 7 Lug Rims for towing capacity
- They have a larger frame then the F150
- Bigger Brakes
- 3:73 rear end from factory
- 4R100 Tranny
- Extra leaf in back
- Larger Torsion bars -
- Heavier towing capacity
- Weigh more -
- Larger rotors
- HD shocks
- power steering cooler
- 4700 lbs rear axle
- HD rad, thicker
- HD alternator
- HD battery
- LT tires standard, load range E
- the tranny is the same as a F250 SD and the F350 SD
- 8,600 lbs towing
- 11,500 lbs GCVWR
- 7,700 lbs payload
-This allows people to insure a "1/2 ton" truck, but have (almost) a 3/4 based on specs. Saves quite a bit of money.

If you go to any of the forums you can read about this truck. They rave about them and people are always looking for one.

I don't know how to value the truck because there arent any listings for it, like Kelly Blue Book. I fugure it is somewhere in the middle of and F150 and an F250, since that is essentially what it is. If you do find one it will have the broken CNG crap and will have 200,000 miles on it.

These are the trades I would be interested in, LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE ONLY. I don't want to trade for your crap. Jeep Rubicon Honda Civic Ford Edge (not the truck) Kia Sorento Lincoln MKX Honda CRV. I want the vehicle to be at least a 2005 low miles clear title and no body damage. I have cash to throw into the right trade.
