2004 FX4 w/ rebuilt motor and tranny..price?

2004 FX4 w/ the following:

180,000 miles
Rebuilt motor - 500 miles
Rebuilt transmission - 3000 miles

Center console transmission
Extended cab
Body colored Tannneau cover
Chrome step bumpers

I don't have any pictures, but hopefully the description helps.

I've done some comparables and most '04 FX4's online w/ 100,000 miles are going for $14-15K

Some with 130,000 miles are going for 11-13K.

My question is, with the motor and tranny being newly rebuilt, is a fair price to ask around 14K?

Thanks

Where are you located? Any rust and/or body damage? Clean interior?

I'm in Ohio. No rust. Interior is in perfect condition. That's the reason I put the money into the motor. I felt the rest of the truck was in great condition.

The only interior flaw is a small rip in the driver's seat that can be sewn up. My dog jumped in the truck w/o me knowing a tore the seat with his nail.

I'm in Dayton, OH. My father owned the truck before me and he lives in Mobile, AL so the truck has only seen snow once in it's life.

Hmmmmmm........

In your zip code, a SuperCab FX4 with that many miles on it has a private party book at 9k in EXCELLENT condition. Unfortunately, a new engine and trans doesn't subtract miles from the truck. I think you would have a really hard time getting more than 10k for it.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of.
