I bought my 98 XLT SC 4x4 5.4L used for 22K with 17,000 miles and brand new 265/75/16 tires (a real plus cause I like the bigger tires). I bought it off the new Ford dealers used car lot here in Vegas in March 99.

I love the truck and think I'm king of the road in this big thing with the only thing remotely intimidating being the new F250/350
Super Duty with the big V-10. I'm not sure how long it'll be but its only a matter of time and I'll be trading her in for a Super Duty.

On April 27th I became the proud owner of a new F-150 XLT SC 4wd 5.4L Auto. Some extras are, upgrade tires, 2 tone paint, remote entry, trailer tow pkg., sliding rear window, skid plates, electronic shift 4wd,and 3.55 limited slip. The sticker price was 29,895 + tax, tags, doc. I paid only 2600 for everything.....

...Oh yeah, Along with that 2600, I traded in a 99 Ram 1500 with only 1000 miles on it.
The Ram cost me 25,000, so I did not make out that bad. I would have done any thing to get out from under that Dodge.
