Question Is it a transmission cooler? Larger size?

Is the small cooler in front of my radiator (driver's side) a trans cooler? It doesn't seem very big/adequate. Should I replace it with a larger one? Any suggestions on brand, size, etc? I don't have the towing package and will only occaisionally pull a light utility trailer.

Cool

The cooler on the driver's side is a power steering cooler on my truck. You can trace the lines visually. Also, if your truck has no auxiliary transmission cooler, the transmission lines just hook up to the integral cooler on the driver's side radiator side tank. Several companies make many universal coolers that can be added. You could do a quick search; I've seen some members post great tips on models, exact placement, and installation. B&M, TCI, Flex-a-lite, and Perma-cool are the big sellers. You may want to browse their websites. Ford Performance also sells one with "stacked plate" design in a 18,000 GVW. It's a smart addition if you tow nothing.
