How can I tell which trans I have? I have a 2000 F-150 5.4 f/s 3:55 LS, BELL BLOWN. Can you tell by the Vin? Pan configuration?

There should be a sticker on the drivers side door. Under TR (transmission) there will be a letter. U=4R70W E=4R100

I have no idea. My 2001 manual only lists four codes. They are
M=5 speed manual (Mazda M5R2-C)
U=AODE, W/4R70W
E=4R100
7=4R100, Lightning
