Thumbs down Delay going into D&OD

Slipping is getting worse! It only does this after coasting and hitting the gas. The revs go up for 3 seconds until the tranny decides to engage.
I visited the dealer a while ago and they said there was no problem. Now they say there may be a problem, HOWEVER any repair probably wont be covered under my extended warranty because of larger tires, Add a leafs, and my chip. They believe these may have damaged my trans.
I changed the fluid twice (pan only) over the last 20,000 miles (56K total).
Ford Tec said earlier it may be the GEM module. What is it and could it be the culprit?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated, thanks hobbitt for the previous response.
